The National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (NAIFA) is a national nonprofit organization representing the interests of more than 70,000 insurance and financial advisors nationwide, through its federation of over 900 state and local associations. Its mission is to advocate for a positive legislative and regulatory environment, enhance business and professional skills, and promote the ethical conduct of its members.

FMA is working with the Central Cost chapter of NAIFA to develop and internship program for FMA members. The local NAIFA chapter consists of about 60 insurance agents and financial advisors. FMA has established a strong relationship with the local chapter of NAIFA and prides itself in its constant strive to maintain and enhance this favorable tie to the finance community.

Two appointed FMA representatives serve as liaisons between the two organizations. By attending chapter meetings and networking with the local professionals, they work to promote the talent of FMA members, establishing an internship program to both meet the needs of the professionals and provide valuable career opportunities for FMA members.

FMA is in the process of developing a portion of the website in which members will have access to all the available internships through NAIFA. These internships will first be offered exclusively to club members, prior to listing through mustang jobs. Keep on the look out for more updates on this project.
