The Financial Management Association (FMA) is a professional business club in the Orfalea College of Business at Cal Poly State University. Our club is run by students and supported through fundraising and sponsorship. Every year we seek sponsorship from local businesses and business professionals to help finance all club events for the upcoming academic year.
Our professional business club assists Cal Poly students in learning about leading financial institutions through corporate tours, meetings with business leaders, social/networking events and weekly guest speakers from all aspects of finance. FMA also provides members contacts to the business-world, which often leads to highly sought after internship and career opportunities. As a student run organization, we typically find that membership dues are not sufficient to fund our events. To make up for additional expenses, we must rely on fundraising and business sponsorship.
The Financial Management Association believes that this is a wonderful opportunity for you to not only give back to your community or advertise your business, but to help contribute to the development of the future business leaders. Any amount will be graciously accepted. Substantial sponsors are given multiple opportunities for advertisement on our club shirts. The donation breakdown is as follows:
Less than $100 = Company listed on club website with link
$100 - $350 = Company name printed on club shirts and listed on club website with link
$350 and up = Large company name and logo printed on club shirts and listed on club website with link
This is a non-profit organization, thus all donations are tax deductible. Sponsors logos will be posted on our frequently visited website and printed on the back of our club shirts, which are worn to weekly meetings and seen by thousands of Cal Poly students. As a sponsor you would be contributing to the community through the enhancement of the university programs.
